My Job by F.m.t.15

I am an accountant. I had a job 2 years ago for 10 months in a bank in my country, Saudi Arabia.

In the bank I had a big office and I was in charge of reconciliation of ATM. I had to use the computer, and this was good for me because I learned something about Microsoft Office.
I had to contact customer, this was good because I built up a relationship with them.
I had to contact my manager, and I learnt how to relate to bosses. I also had to contact other staff. I had a good time.

In the future I would like to work in an airport because I would like to travel to a lot of countries and visit a lot of places.

My First Job by Nouf Al-hekeir

One year ago I worked with my family. They have a group of companies for entertainment and hotels.

I worked there for 10 month and it was in my city, Riyadh. I was the leader of the women’s section of the group.
I had much office work to do and I made some decisions.

The good things about my job were that it made me confident and it made me open-minded. The bad thing was that I didn’t have much time to spend with my family.

In the future I would like to have my own business because I would like to develop myself, feel more and more confident and make money.

My First Job by Sulaiman

I first worked as a secretary in a hotel with my uncle for one month.

My job was to answer the phone, rent rooms to people and see if they needed anything.

The good things I learnt from the job were how to speak to the customers, see if they were happy and give directions and information.
Another good thing was that I met a lot of people and I was financially independent.

The bad thing was that I worked more then nine hours a day after school.

I don’t want to have the same job in the future, but I want to be a manager because I want a good life, a nice car, a big house, a good salary every month and a good business.

Football Fans by Faisal Althwuaini

Two fans decided to go to Madrid to watch a football game between Madrid and Barcelona.
They booked tickets for the game online and then they booked the plane tickets. They went to the airport.
They arrived in Madrid and then went to the stadium by taxi. They enjoyed the match very much. After that they went to the hotel and then they went to sleep.

A few years ago Manchester United played the Spanish team Barcelona in the Champions League.
Two Manchester United fans wanted to travel to Spain to see the match.
It was not possible to fly to Barcelona direct, so they needed
to fly to Madrid , and then get a taxi. They booked tickets to Madrid on the Internet. They checked in at Heathrow airport at 9:00 P.M because the flight was at 11:00 night.
When the plane landed they were very surprised it was morning.
They walked out of the airport and stopped a taxi. After that they went to stadium by taxi and then they enjoyed the match very much.

transportation by faisal

There are some differences between transportation in London and Riyadh.

In London most people use the underground, buses and trains. A few people use a car.

Riyadh doesn’t have the underground and there is just one train between Riyadh and Dammam. Most people in Riyadh have a car because Riyadh is a big city. There are a lot of traffic jams.

I think if I had a car in London it’d be very convenient for me, but I also think the train is convenient, especially in London, because it is fast and I can use the Internet there or read a book.
Finally I hate buses because they stop a lot and I hate taxis because they cost too much.

What is accounting by Shahin

A lot of people say “accounting is the language of business”. Although this term is right, it doesn’t totality mean accounting. This word only confuses people, because accounting has more meanings. But this sentence has both advantages and disadvantages.

The advantage is that you can show generality of accounting, for example you can understand the accounting used in business and declare the company operations.

The disadvantage is that you can not explain information which you receive, because you have to be professional and you have to have a lot of experience on explaining annual reports.

To sum up, although we understand accounting is the backbone of business, we have to be careful with wrong explanation of information.

Willy of Kids

Willy arrived in the city of London one evening. He walked into the saloon and looked slowly around the room. Everybody was afraid Willy had two guns. The sheriff was in his office. He was asleep. The saloon barman rushed into the sheriff office. The sheriff hurried to the saloon. The sheriff shouted to Willy: ”give me your guns!”. Willy replied: “this town is too small for both of us”. They went into the street and the sheriff waited for willy to move his hand towards his gun. The sheriff pulled out his gun. He fired twice. The first bullet missed Willy. The second killed him. Two cowboys carried Willy away.
That was the end of Willy of Kids.
